Dark Brown Marbeled Faceted Cup

 Approx. 3 3/4”w x 3 1/2”h

This cup was made with dark brown and white clay bodies that were combined, giving it a marbled finish. The interior features a dark green glossy glaze while the exterior was left raw. This cup is inspired by the kurinuki pottery technique from Japan. I form this cup on the wheel and then carefully hand carve the outside with a knife to get this textural, faceted finish. Holds approx 16oz liquid.

Hand washing recommended for cleaning.

The cup you see in the photo is the one that ships. All pottery is packed using 100% recyclable materials. In an effort to reduce my carbon footprint with shipping some cardboard boxes may be previously used but your piece will still arrive in excellent condition.
